So - pop quiz: mobile goes at work, you notice a UK number, pick it up say hello and the line goes dead, now being the kind of girl who hates that sort of rudeness (how hard is it to say 'sorry wrong number?') you do a quick google for the number. It comes back as the number of the office of the guy your ex left you for.
What do you do??

see if you can lodge a complaint with the cops. And call ex, tell them and demand an apology.
That's just so cheap. Oh - and count yourself as way too refined, polite and decent to even think of such a cheap shot.

Err, immediate reaction... shit!
Probably just a misdial, hence the disconnect. But why on earth would he [still] have your number in his phone?
ignore it babe,they will anticipate a response..... it pings when reminders raise there horrid heads, and sets the mind racing......as time goes on the pings dont feel so hard...

Wierder than that Karol, it was his work phone, it's not like having my number in his mobile from back when I thought we were friends and misdialling it. This was his works phone.
